I'm wondering too, as i see that the non-ASCII SSIDs i collect turned into question marks. It's quite strange because the other fields in the API e.g. "Road" do accept unicode.

I would like to compile all my observations, but i've cleared the DB on my Android Wigle app. I tried going to https://wigle.net/uploads but the problem is that - The only format available is KML - The SSIDs in the KML are ASCII only (unicode chars appear as ?). EDIT: this seems to be how Wigle ...
