The file will have to contain valid gps data and be saved as a ns1 (network stumbler) file type for knsgem to work.

I guess there is a possibility to purchase the data from Wigle for this use.
While the check book is out, this "Twine Ball" would make an interesting purchase as well. :D

Re: Release - Google Earth kmz

Some say using the CDATA text construct should fix that problem. However I continued have users report unloadable KMLs, so I said "fuck it" and filtered everything out of the SSID except ascii 32 thru 126. I haven't had a complaint since. :D It might end this way. I basically put the lot into a ...

Now all we need is for someone to adapt Irongeek's Wigle to Google Earth Script to generate a dynamic KML for Google Earth. I don't know what you mean by dynamic, as in realtime? I'm not sure GE can process dynamic data. It just needs to make use of the WiGLE.net API, rather than parse a file ...

Kismet CSV date/time problem

I don't know if its a problem at my end or Wigles, but I've noticed Wigle doesn't read Kismet's firstseen & lastseen date/time stamp in the CSV file format. Ex. "Mon Jan 02 09:34:04 2006" Wigle disregards the date and defaults to current date/time for both. Has anyone else noticed this ?

No more help? Also be aware that although the wigle login isn't case sensitive the Wigle client server is. If you up load your files as "D4rk3y35" but try to veiw them with the webmap or client as "d4rk3y35" you will not get any results. This is a known problem and I don't know if it has been fixed ...

Re: hrm.

but i believe its that group stats include networks without location, and personal stats are just with location.
I've got several nets in the system without gps and my group and personal stats still match.

Re: No Free Lunch

Oh, great...another jerk. So Maria is a man?!?!?!? Wow! Well if that's the case, you obviously know Maria well enough to have a handle on the situation. My guess is that Maria is in fact not a homosexual male, and that you just didn't bother to pay much attention to what the post said. Pot ...

Re: No Free Lunch

Needless to say, obstructions (such as the neighboring building that was mentioned) that lie smack dab in the middle of the line of sight don't need anything as esoteric as the Fresnel Effect to explain... No need to get your panties in a bunch. After all the original post wasn't very clear as to ...
