I have just started using g-mon for android. it is a pretty amazing app. found 1200 wifi networks and mapped them to gps coordinates during my 15 minute walk/bus ride to work. best part is that it exports all of this to .kml files. maybe you should give this free app a shot, its new but awesome so ...
