What does the different color mean on the map? Do they mean, AP,BS or it stands for different number's APs?

what does Variance (+/- degrees) mean in Query? After I do a query there by different Variance, there r different number of stations. but sometimes, they all reach 11000 stations and I'm not able to see the next 1000. What r the real number of stations in a paticular Variance?

I'm doing a reseach on AP distribution. And I saw a paper(http://www.mobnets.rwth-aachen.de/fileadmin/templates/images/PublicationPdfs/CrossCorrelation.pdf) used the database in wigle, I can use Query to get a small area's database, but how can I get all, what I need is just all the AP and BS's ...

I'm new here and I want to know how can I get the database from wigle?
