Only discovered by me?
when viewing the map, if I select "only discovered by me", then it should only show what I have personally discovered, correct? I'm wondering because it shows stuff in states that I've never been to.
This is usually because of the nature of our cluster trilateration algorithm - someone has seen something with the same BSSID that you saw first "more-often" and/or "more-recently" in those locations.
Rather than "smear" across the map, it relocates the "current" location of the device to those places.
This can happen for legitimate reasons (someone moves, the AP is sold to someone someplace else, it's a mobile device, it's a transferred address) or because of less legitimate reasons (spoofing, cloning, or other types of address re-use).
