Complaints about map and query limits

We understand that the strict new-user limitations make people unhappy. We didn't want to do this, but we've been forced by the truly intense degree of abuse to which this free, community project is being subjected. The surest way to increase your limits is to participate and demonstrate that you're a human over time. The alternative would be to change this community to invitation-only, and we feel that would be worse. There are things you can do to put your account in bad standing - to avoid this:

- Don't register multiple accounts.
- Don't share credentials.
- Don't violate the EULA.

We also understand that people would like a concrete set of steps to do increase limits, but we're not going to provide that, since it would also serve as a guide for our attackers to overcome our countermeasures. Asking us publicly to "tip our hand" won't help.

We're locking the existing complaint threads and any further threads started here to complain about daily limits will be summarily deleted. Further attempts to debate this on the forums will be presumed to be bad-faith and may have account consequences.
