gpsmap problems

When I try to use gpsmap with my Kismet cvs files I get this problem:
Command:
gpsmap -l ssid -L0 -G -t -S2 *.gps


Error:

Labeling networks...
gpsmap: annotate.c:786: GetTypeMetrics: Assertion `draw_info->text != (char *) ((void *)0)' failed.
Aborted

Any ideas?
