I'm planning on becoming a HAM soon, next month or two
I like the ability to use channels 2-6 with higher power....and plan on setting up my own wireless network in the Buffalo, NY area.

KC5QYO ... monitor 146.52 while driving, and have APRS at the same time. A few too many radiowaves, I fear, but eh, its all in the fun of it.
kc9chq. My uncle got me a short wave radio like 10 years ago. A neighbor convinced me to get off my butt and take the test. Still working on the code.
