We'll assume they mean "hackers" in the MIT sense, and the connections they are looking for are ones they have rights to use. While the general angle of the article is nice (take steps to secure yourself!), their concept of WiGLE is pretty far off the mark. Your network is at risk regardless of the existance of any website, make sure to protect yourself.
