stat ?discrepancy?

I did a search for stat help and stat problem and maybe there should be a seperate faq on stats, but this question didnt come up in that mass.

Im tryinging to figure out which MACs dont have GPS coords as a low gas method of increasing my overall standings.

My current stats are as follows:

Total New Discovered Networks with GPS: 16,980 All Networks Recorded: 22,484

So I do a query search for all systems with coordinates of N 0.000000 E 0.000000 found by me. 207. That seems a little low as 22,484 - 16,980 = 5504. So how can I find the the additional 5297 hosts without GPS Data, or is that number even acurate?

I would guess that the other 5297 hosts were possibly found by someone else with GPS first, and then you found them later with GPS? Showing you have recorded that many, but were not the first to find them?

Whitedice is correct.

The "Discovered Networks with GPS" column means the ones that you were the initial discoverer of, and which has a valid lat/lon coordinateset attached in the db, whether provided by you, or by somebody else at a later date.
I.E. All the networks in your logs, that you were the first to see with valid gps, and all the networks that you were first to see without gps but which later has been seen by someone with a gps.

The "All Networks Recorded" column means the ones that you have seen, whether you were the first to see them, or not. It doesn't distinguish between networks that has or hasn't valid lat/lon coordinates attached in the db.
I.E. all networks that you've have had in the logs uploaded to Wigle.

ok, then the 207 that I pulled fron the query are ones that both were discovered by me with out GPS and have never been seen by anyone else with GPS since then?

If they are seen by someone with GPS later then those coordinates would be inthe system instead of the N 0.0 E 0.0 ?

That is correct in both cases.
And your stats in the Discovered networks with GPS will increase, when/if that happens.
