I've ust got myself a Macbook and installed Kismac on it and
was Unable to sniff any packets from my wireless router.

Apprantly ( http://kismac.de/hardwarelist.php ) says the hardware is
supported but I read elsewhere Macbook n Macbook pros is not supported
by Kismac

Any way, Kismac managed to scan, only is ACTIVE mode. How about
Passive mode ? I'm able to get my SSID but can't get any packets
either from my router or my neighbours.

what gives?! :?:

Passive mode should work if you enable "persistant" airport extreme support.

Try following the steps here if you haven't already - https://trac.kismac.de/wiki/Troubleshoo ... %20Extreme

However, the card, for some reason, won't pick up anything but beacon frames... fine for wardriving, but not cracking. We're working on it.
