OUI list
I noticed that here
http://wigle.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t= ... hlight=oui
there is a statistical list of all APs seen.
How would one go about getting the OUIs (Vendor IDs) associated with these APs - or is that data somewhere else on the site (and I missed it - oops)?
Would be very useful from a Rogue-AP detection perspective.

You can download an OUI list from here http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/oui/oui.txt (the ieee website)
Yes, (have that list) but the advantage here is that these OUIs have been seen by WiGLE community members, and a high degree of confidence can be placed in the fact that they represent wireless devices
So - the OUI list is comprehensive, but I'm still looking for that subset - that matches perfectly with the list in the grandparent post.

the phrases "high degree of confidence", "useful" and "wigle" should never be used in the same sentence. not even that one.
the oui list is the oui list.
if you're trying to get from the oui name to hex, i'd recommend perl.
and rogue AP detection is best done with cryptography, not statistics.
