iTunes 10.4 (OSX Lion) and Consolidated.db?

Is it safe to upgrade? Or will the file not be synchronized anymore. I know to stay away from iPhone updates, but unsure about iTunes.

It's more a function of the iOS version as I recall, not iTunes. As of iOS 4.3.3 the file is far less useful from a wardriving perspective. Stay on iOS 4.3.2 if you want to make use of consolidated.db in a big way.
