Wifi without required password or known password

Is there anyway of determining wifi spots in Toronto, Canada that have a known password or don't require a password? The map just seems to list all the wifi spots but most of those would be password protected.

this site is (among other things) a survey of public broadcast radio beacons,
*NOT* a list of networks for you to connect to, or get internet connectivity from.
you need permission from a network's operator to use it, pretty much everywhere.

many public buildings and cafe-type places have free wifi that you are allowed to use,
in my non-toronto-specific experience.
