default ssid lists

hey was wondering if I anyone had a default ssid list or if I could get the list used for the wigle.net db?
I am trying to expand and automate my queries for my local db so when I update my files and such I won't have to hand jam everything.

I remember when half of all ssid's were "linksys"....times have changed!

Yes times have definitely changed and more and more products are coming out with default ssids other than just 'linksys' or 'NETGEAR' or 'belkin54g'.
Take cisco/linksys for example. There are several products in their lineup that are shipped with ssids other than just 'linksys'.
I'm hoping to get a comprehensive list of default ssids and the associated octets from the OUI list which I can use to create scripted sql queries to more efficiently separate the data.
I have searched and now I'm asking around to see if a list already exists before i go and do a ton of leg work.
Does this make more sense now?

well, I don't know of any comprehensive list, but this may be worth looking at

Great find m86! This is the sort of info I'm looking for. And you're right it isn't comprehensive but it does have some major manufacturers and it is a huge leap in the right direction. Thank you. I will keep working on this and if anyone finds anything else go ahead and send it my way
