Web Maps: filtering by year is buggy

playing around with the web maps today i noticed a small bug with the filters.
filtering by end year of 2014 you only get data till the end of 2013 (url parameter: 'endTransID=20140000-00000') while the captures of 2014 should also be included in the query.

For purposes of database query, the year apparently means the start of 1st January of that year. This is why 2015 now appears in the dropdown, so queries can include all of 2014. Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the code or the site, but I have database experience and have seen this sort of thing before.
