Wifi for geography

Interesting scientific article about finding wi-fi networks and what they mean for a geographical area. It mentions wigle.net a few times. What is interesting to 'us wiglers' is that the author makes some negative remarks about the quality of wardriving databases for his research.
Wi-Fi Geographies - Annals of the Association of American Geographers. I'm afraid the article itself is not available to everybody: I just noticed the name of the university where I work in the header..
Charting a Landscape with Wi-Fi Signals - Wi-Fi Networking News mentions an interview with his remarks about wardriving but I don't see the source of that interview.
Wi-Fi geographies the project page.
