MapPack for Honolulu, HI

Is there a way to get some decent maps of the Honolulu, HI area? I downloaded the MapPack for Honolulu and they are pretty unusable (a scale/resolution problem). Could you use a USGS DRG?

Yeah, that map is horrible. Let me play with some of the tuning numbers and see if I can get it to be usable.

Are there any 'How To' or/and guidelines for creating MapPacks? I could problably set you guys up with maps for Hawaii.
