GPS with debian
Will Delorme Earthmate LT-40 gps run under debian?
go to GPSD's website and see if they support it, it's not a debian/redhat/ubuntu thing, THEY will see it, but it's GPSD that has to USE it.
For the most part, if it's not a random POS GPS, GPSD will be able to get some info from it. They have a list of known good and bad GPS units that have been tested, chances are, it will be supported, it's from a big name company.
