Hi,
I have a wifi colour project for my fine art phd and I have chosen London, Taipei, Hong Kong, Chicago, and New York for my fieldwork. I am in Chicago now. Can I use your data in my project?
Regards,

If this is your only correspondence with the admins of this site, you probably just hit a road block. You might want to explain in a little more detail what you are trying to do, and possibly read this (
WIGLE - EULA).
I just found this person's project:

http://fireant.itaiwan.net/
Based off of what I have read so far, there is no reason to be using WIGLE's data. You aren't suppose to just help yourself to connect to any wifi you so please to connect to. You are suppose to ask permission. WIGLE is not a database to search for wifi to connect to, as no permission has been given from any network listed within.
I'm also really confused as to what the colors in this particular project mean, as they just look random, and there is no explanation.
You obviously just found WIGLE today (apparent by your blog post), but you didn't do any research as to what it is. And you want to use it for your research?
