Wigle for android-triggering camera

Hi all

While I have been doing runs, I have noticed a lot of molbile ap turned on travelling along major roads.

This has given me an idea, to set up and capture wifi nodes that travel past a stationary capturing point.

Now I have tested this with a good result , so I started to think, what if we could use the built in camera to snap when it detects a node, as a camera trap.

Has this been done before, is there an app already that would do this .

If not, where would I get the source for android so I can have a go myself.

Any ideas on this
