several times tested and compared with GPS Status & Toolbox
Conversion error in meters /feets ?

About displays 50 meters too low with samsung S5mini and motorola G4 Play .

GPS altitude is off by 10-20m even on professional GPS devices. I'm a Surveyor Engineer by profession.

Height is measured at Wigle with WGS84 ellipsoid. The measurement at sea level (n. N) is always slightly less
