I' m back :) + a question
Hello,
my last participation in scanning networks was from 3 years ago.
I'm back with a new phone that connect to geo sats from 4 networks and not only gps, better battery life.
Due to covid I do much of my errands by foot instead of taking public transport so I though it would be fun to remap my area.
I would like to know if for a specific mac address Wigle database keep an history of previous geolocations. Would it be possible to do stats on people moving based on their wifi routers ?
Also using wigle I was able to spot that my local transport company has put wifi in it's vehicles.

we don't log previously-reported locations for things - the set shifts with each new observation, it would be too hard to do... what you can do though is look at the observations for a network either via the Basic Search page (select the network to see the "outlines"), the Advanced Search Detail (we provide both an outline and a list of observations), or the API network/detail query!
Cheers, and welcome back!
