Where can i get maps for germany???

Hey Guys,
the last days, i´ve searched nearly the whole Internet for a tool, to mark my found WLan HotSpots in a map without GPS. Until now, i´ve found no tool for it.
Does anybody of you know a programm for that??

You could always simply edit your files with the coordinates of your location when you found them. The trick is, finding your coordinates. There's some software at http://www2.musatcha.com/musatcha/compu ... /index.htm that you can find your coordinates by mousing over a spot on the map, and it will show your coordinates at the bottom of the screen. Note, this software is still in it's alpha stages, and may crash. Also, there's no installer yet, so it may not be worth your time.

I'd say your best bet would be to find a gps on ebay, depending on how much effort you want to put into manually entering coordinates everytime you find an AP. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Ack, never mind. I just noticed that you're located in Germany, so the previous suggest won't work, as there are no WiGLE maps for Germany. Sorry.

I've searched and searched for free or cheap geographic data for europe, or anywhere non-U.S. There's some arcview stuff for Canada that we'll incorporate at some point, but everyone else wants tens of thousands of dollars for street-level geographic data for europe/the rest of the world. Or they have a license that would restrict us generating maps that the internet would see.

If anyone would like to donate data for us to generate maps off of, we'd appreciate it
