Planning on buying a new phone

I was planning to Upgrade my Samsung S9 to the new Samsung S22 when it comes out.
Will Android 12 be nice to the WiGLE app, or should I keep my old phone with me, it runs Android 10.

I been trying to find some more details, maybe the lads with a newer phone can help me out

Using Android 12 on my Pixel 5 with excellent results.

I've had mixed luck with scanning on Samsung phones in general vs. Google - whether it's power-saving or driver support, they don't seem to get as many nets in the same area with the same scan settings (Z-Flip on Android 11 and an old A10e on 10).
