SSID field in BT search output

Hello, I need help interpreting the "SSID" field returned in the bluetooth/detail and bluetooth/search API functions. AFAIK, Bluetooth and BLE don't use network names (ESSID's). Is the 802.11 SSID transmitted in Bluetooth beacons and wigle makes this available?

that's the device "name" property, which corresponds quite closely to SSID.
