I just realized that even though I've been bugging you guys about this for about a year, that I never posted it on the forum.

Ok, so say you logged in a few days ago. Now when you login to the forum, you have to login twice. The first time you get to the login screen, your session id is different from the one you get the 2nd time you get to the login screen.

I think as a consequence, the "new messages!" icons don't appear.

It's pry a bug with phpbb. I set the cookie to not expire, so i never run into this one
