Hi,
A group of us here in Calgary, Alberta are in the (very!!) early stages of planning a community wireless project.

The EULA specifically forbids the use of the Wigle database for commercial purposes. Are we (non-commercial) OK with using the data to render maps etc., to aid the planning and bring-up of our community project?

[Obviously credit will be given to Wigle.net for providing/allowing us of the data]

as noted in the EULA, you may not re-vend wigle data, or make it available to more than one computer/multiple users.
(obviously, what you do with your own original data is your own concern.)

if you send a mail to wigle-admin[at]wigle.net explaining what it is you're trying to do, we may be able to find something in our bag of tricks to accomodate you. we're big fans of community wireless projects, and would definitely be interesting in hearing how we can help make wigle work for ya.
