How about a 'Map pack queue'?

Often times when I am wanting to generate a map for a particular county, I see the friendly message of, "The map generation system is currently working on another MapPack, please try again in a few minutes. Thanks!" What would be really good information is a link where someone can click and see the "XYZ County" is currently "6th" in line in the queue, etc. I would like to see a link where I can see the status of my request. This information would be useful in two different areas.

1. When you submit the initial request, add to the "...currently working on another..." message and add some sort of "...there are 'x' number of requests ahead of yours.", etc.

2. A separate link from the main page where you can see where your request currently sits. You'd need to be logged in, of course.

Thoughts?

Not a bad idea, something I've been meaning to implement for a while. Right now there is nothing to maintain that state.
